NGO 35 mm with support of European Youth Foundation (EYF) announces OPEN CALL for participants of ON-LINE School of Investigative Journalism "Media N-GAGE"
ON-LINE SCHOOL "Media N-GAGE" is organised in the period 1st October 2010 until 29th November 2010. Working languages of the School are MNE/SRB/CRO/BIH, Albanian and English.
Selected participants will work individually with mentors. Each participant will get unique and individualised set of guidelines based on own and mentor's assessment of needs. However, some general guidelines and materials will be available for all participants of this ON-LINE SCHOOL. The participants are expected to be eager to enter into the field of investigative journalism, to have the idea about the topic thez would like to investigate, to be curious, willing to learn through practice and determined to present their findings in media format. The deadline for application is 25th September 2010. Final investigative pieces produced by participants proving their learning will be published on regional portal www.E-Balkan.Net and friendly media. The number of participants is limited. The ON-LINE SCHOOL is organised free of charge.
MENTOR'S TEAM
Darko Ivanovic is the author and host of TV show Robin Hood, author of over 100 documentaries, producer of TV adds for campaigns and founder of NGO 35mm. Ivanovic has earned the degree in specialist studies of Movie and TV Directing.
Dr Veselin Kljajic Professor at Department for Journalism of Political Sciences Faculty and lecturer at International interdisciplinary specialist studies of journalism. He got his Phd with the thesis "Interview as form of journalism expression in printed, on-line media and internet" Faik Ispahiu is producer and trainer. A graduate in directing for film, theatre and radio, Ispahiu has been involved in the media development sector since 1997. He is the executive director of Internews Kosova and executive producer and director of BIRN's "Life in Kosovo" current affairs TV debates Semsudin Seki Radoncic Publicist and journalist, author of noteworthy books and articles about breach of human rights in ex-Yugoslavia. He is columnist and associate of Montenegrin weekly "Monitor". Radoncic is laureate of SEEMO award for Human Rights for 2007. Petar Komnenic Journalist of radio Free Europe, weekly magazine "Monitor" and TV "Vijesti". He is also associate of Balkan Investigative Network (BIRN) and Media Institute. Komnenic is mainly focusing on subjects of war crimes, corruption and judiciary. |
